Rwanda Gorillas Uganda Gorillas?

Rwanda Gorillas or Uganda Gorillas?

The exciting day has arrived to launch our Africa Safari Expert’s blog. Our blog aims to give inspiration, share hands on advice and a place for interaction and feedback with you our customers, prospects and industry peers. So let’s kick off with one of our company values “delivering our clients the opportunity to directly participate on African Conservation Experiences” which compliments the big question to visit Rwanda Gorillas or Uganda Gorillas.

Rwanda Gorillas

Thanks to the investment from tourism operators including Rwanda Singita Kwitonda Lodge and Kataza House and Wilderness Safaris Bisate Lodge Rwanda  and the Rwanda government, Rwanda is bouncing back and offers a brilliant opportunity to experience the RWANDA GORILLAS at the Volcanoes National Park. Just over a 2 hour drive from the capital Kigali guests are given the opportunity to see firsthand Mountain Gorillas in addition to the Golden Monkeys. Over the past 3 years national parks and lodges have opened up for tourists to immerse in a variety of wilderness and wildlife experiences while directly contributing and supporting biodiversity conservation and local community engagement.

Uganda Gorillas

The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda is home to the primary gorilla tracking location to view the Mountain Gorillas of Uganda. The drive from Entebbe is over 10 hours so guests often choose to fly. On from the gorilla trek the Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a brilliant kaleidoscope of wildlife including hyena, leopards, hippos, elephants, tree climbing lions, and endemic antelope along with the crested crane. Kibale Forest National Park is famed for chimpanzee tracking and is highly recommended and a must for bird lovers and photographers.

General info as of 28 Dec. 2018:

And finally…RWANDA GORILLAS OR UGANDA GORILLAS? You need to consider the investment in time and money and if you are looking at just viewing the gorillas or wanting to extend on and experience the local culture, wilderness and wildlife the countries offer Rwanda Gorilla package . If you are just wanting to gorilla trek then Rwanda is easy with the close location to the capital while both Rwanda and Uganda are filled with tremendous beauty, landscapes, wildlife and wonderful people.

Gorilla or human? The DNA of gorillas is 98% human so let’s all work together to protect these majestic friends of us humans.
