Arrive Nairobi Giraffe Manor

Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be transferred to the truly unique boutique Giraffe Manor, the perfect setting to commence your Kenya Safari Tour. Built in the 1930’s the Giraffe Manor is located on 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest in the Langata suburb of Nairobi. Offering elegant interiors and guest rooms, sunny terraces and courtyards for various dining options and the unique experience are meeting the resident Rothschild’s Giraffe’s who reside in the forest sanctuary. The Giraffes visit most mornings and evenings and are known to even poke their head through the window at breakfast.

Nairobi to Aberdare Solio

After breakfast at the stunning Giraffe Manor transfer to Wilson Airstrip for your flight to Solio Lodge located between the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya in the Solio Game Reserve. Internationally recognised as the most success private rhino programs in Kenya sightings of up to 40 rhinoceros at a time are not uncommon. The wildlife experience here is intense and exclusive with 19,000 acres of conservancy surrounded by 45,000 acres of ranch and just one lodge. Enjoy lunch, afternoon safari activity and dinner.

Solio full day of activities

Wake to the sounds of the Kenya Wildlife and head out on your morning safari activity. Return to Solio Ranch  and enjoy the facilities of the lodge or choose from one of the activities including horse riding, jogging and cycling through Solio Ranch. Afternoon safari activity and dinner.

Solio Reserve to Samburu

After enjoying a morning safari and breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Samburu. Upon arrival transfer to Sasaab located close to the Samburu National Reserves and neighbouring Buffalo Springs National Reserve. This area is home to the Samburu people who are closely related to the Maasai tribes and teaming with wildlife rich in natural diversity with the Samburu unique five including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Beisa Oryx along with the majestic elephant, leopard, cheetah, lions, leopards and more. The Sasaab Lodge delivers guests breathtaking views across the Laikipia Plateau, time to sit back and watch the herds of elephants that come to bathe in the river below and a stunning blend of Moroccan and Swahili styles. Afternoon game drive and dinner back at the lodge.

Sasaab Samburu

Morning safari to discover the wonders of this beautiful region teaming with wildlife. Return to camp where you may choose to relax around the camp, enjoy guided walks, bird watching, a treatment at the SpaSaab and spend time with the local Samburu guides always eager to share their culture. Lunch, afternoon safari activity and dinner in camp.

Sasaab Samburu - Masai Mara

Today depart on your charter flight over the Great Rift Valley and onto the Masai Mara. One of the most brilliant natural wonders of the world and home to wonderful volcanic scenery, rolling grasslands and plenty of big game. Met on arrival by your local guide and transferred to Sala’s Camp. Situated in the southern, wilder corner of Kenya’s mighty Masai Mara game reserve close to the confluence of the Sand and Keekerok Rivers – an idyllic geographical feature that attracts teeming wildlife. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Sala Masai Mara

Sala’s Camp location is a big draw, close to Tanzania with wonderful views of the Serengeti National Park, it is one of the first camps in the Mara to witness the legendary annual migration of wildebeest, which thunders by from June to September each year. Enjoy morning activities, lunch and relax in camp. Afternoon safaris with sundowners an essential part of any safari experience. Watch the sun set over the vast animal filled plains of the Masai Mara.

Mara to Nairobi

Morning safari or for a unique experience watch the sunrise over the Maasai Mara from above in a hot air balloon. Relax in the beautiful camp or choose from one of the activities. Lunch, afternoon safari and dinner in camp.

Masaai Mara to Nairobi

After an early morning game drive you shall be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your one hour flight back to Nairobi. Wilson arrival transfer by private vehicle and subject to your next destination enjoy lunch at Oleserni then onwards to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for departure flight.
